The Importance of Being Real

It's important to be yourself on Instagram Reels. Don't try to be someone you're not. People can tell when you're not being genuine. Be authentic and let your personality shine through.

The "CrInge" Factor

Now, let's talk about something I call the "crInge" factor. Some people try to be funny or outrageous to get views. This can work, but it can also backfire.

There are two types of "crInge":

• Positive "crInge": This is when you're a little silly or experimental. You're not afraid to make fun of yourself.
• Negative "crInge": This is when you go too far. You might do things that are embarrassing or offensive.

I suggest sticking with positive "crInge." It's okay to be a little silly, but don't do anything you'll regret later.

The Downside of "CrInge"

Being too "crIngy" can have negative consequences. You might get attention, but it might not be the kind you want. People might make fun of you or judge you.

It's important to think about your image. How do you want people to see you? If you're too "crIngy," it can be hard to change people's minds later on.

Think about your family too. Your actions online can affect them. Don't do anything that would embarrass them or cause them pain.

Some people who became famous from cringy content now regret it. They feel like they can't escape their past.

Balance is Key

The key is to find a balance. Be yourself, but be mindful of your image. Don't be afraid to experiment, but don't go too far.

It's like comedy. Good comedians know how to make people laugh without being offensive. They find the line and stay on the right side of it.

Working Alone

I prefer to work alone on my Reels. It's easier for me to be myself when I'm not worried about what other people think.

When you work with others, you have to consider their feelings. You might be afraid to try new things because you don't want to embarrass them.

Working alone can be tough, but it's also freeing. You can do whatever you want, without worrying about anyone else's opinion.
